After finishing an unlucky third last start at the Gold Coast three weeks ago, Carbon Taikun finally had luck go his way.
Starting $3 favourite and ridden cold as ice by Jackson Morris, he settled last in the field before unleashing a bursting finish right down the outside to win easily by 1.8 lengths, he raced past his rivals like they were nailed to the inside running rail.
