Miss Bella Rosa took out the Anzac Cup over 2020m at Murwillumbah today.

Starting favourite, the big Chosir filly displayed an impressive performance to lead from start to finish.

Ridden by Gold Coast apprentice Rikki Jamieson, she rolled Miss Bella Rosa to the front and took control of the race.

Pressure was applied to Miss Bella Rosa a long way from home and she was also headed half way down the straight but she drew clear to win by three quarters of a length.

''It was a very strong win, a real tough staying performance. It was her first try beyond a mile and she ran the distance out well, a ten out of ten ride by Jamieson'' Wilson said.

It was Rikki Jamieson's first ride for the stable and her brother Luke Jamieson from Superior Syndications is a part owner of the filly.

Congratulations to connections.
