Cheval Le Vent made his rivals look second rate as he won the maiden over 1300m today at the Gold Coast.
Great ride by Ryan Wiggins, he gave him the run of the race from barrier two and looked the winner a long way from home.
It was a top effort as he carried 58.5kg.
The addition of the blinkers and the extra distance did the job as he won with ease. The last 100m of his race was very exciting as the further they went the better he got.
