A super effort from Cheval Le Vent at the Sunshine Coast today when winning by 1.8 lengths.
The good barrier and the top ride by Ryan Wiggins gave him a chance to find his feet early after jumping well to settle midfield.
Travelling kindly into the turn, Wiggins edged him closer when straightening. Taking an inside run and when entering the final 300m Wiggins really asked him for an effort and he responded, bursting clear for a great victory.
Stepping up to 1600m and carrying 58.5kg makes it a very good win.
